The Black Economic Business Network enables members of the community to become economically educated and self reliant. We are organising events aimed at elevating the business acumen of individuals and encouraging the start up of small and medium sized businesses. We have already facilitated the delivery of several Black Economics courses in Bradford and Huddersfield and intend to organise many more opportunities for positive education around business.
This part of our project is primarily aimed at helping people within the local community to realise their business aspirations whilst developing their skills in considering the most effective ways of turning these skills into viable business propositions.
Per Ankh CE’s Business Network will include access to quality training, business and personal development opportunities. These will be organised in a planned and self-conscious manner, reflecting the principles of African centredness and collective partnerships.
“God does not… give people positions or jobs or… good conditions such as they desire; they must do that for themselves.God does not build cities nor towns nor nations, nor homes, nor factories; men and people do that and all those who want must work for themselves and pray to God to give them strength to do it.” Marcus Garvey
