Each year we celebrate Kwanzaa in Leeds. For the last five years we have held the event at the West Indian Centre on Chapeltown Road. Families come together to celebrate the principles of Kwanzaa and all the readings and ceremonies are led by children. The event usually attracts well over 100 people and there is an African market at every event. On 27th December 2013 (6-10pm) we are celebrating Kwanzaa again at Leeds West Indian Centre. Please see the front page of our website for further details.
